I dabbled in photography about 35 years ago but found I had little time to devote to it. I put my camera and my interest in photography into hibernation for many years and when I resurrected them I found, to my dismay, that the digital age had arrived and both my camera and I were obsolete. I was lost but thanks to the many workshops and patience of our technical guru Colin and others, I am slowly evolving. I love to travel and love taking candid portraits of local residents in their everyday life. We encounter interesting people every day, but for a variety of reasons, we rarely truly 'see' them or appreciate their uniqueness. So if you spot an old bald guy with a camera pointed in your direction, smile.
